This morning Pr André will preach from Deuteronomy 1-3 on the theme, “Feeling insignificant?” Having worked through the Lord’s prayer, we begin a new series in the great Old Testament book of Deuteronomy. Have you ever felt “small”? It could be physical, as you stand next to a rugby league giant, or emotional, because someone has really belittled you and made you feel like curling up like an unborn baby. In chapters 1-3 God wants to encourage His people by teaching them that our giants are never too big for Him. Come and listen how God can help us slay our “giants."
Deuteronomy isn't just a repeat of the law, or Second Law, as its name suggests. Rather it's a review of how the Israelites reacted to the Law during their wilderness journey from Kadesh-Barnea to the Jordan River and the Promised Land.
