Are they lost?

From God’s point of view there are only two classes of people in the world – the lost and the found, or the condemned and the forgiven. Amazingly, God is not willing that any should perish so He sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as our substitute “sin-bearer” and His Holy Spirit to reveal Christ to the heart. When this Good News is proclaimed to people, and they “call upon the Name of the Lord” then they will be saved, and pass from death to life. So our Lord commands us to “Make disciples of all nations…” (Mat 28:18-20)

Crossing Cultural Barriers

Overseas missions would better be called “Cross-cultural Missions” because that’s the difference between local, national and overseas missions. A new language, culture, gestures, worldview, and customs need to be understood and embraced – at least where there is no conflict with Biblical principles and standards. And for that,  God chooses and sends forth the labourers needed (Acts 13:1-4; Mat 9:37-38) and gives them the gifts and abilities they need to achieve this adaptation.

Our Missionaries

BPPC is praying that God would send out more labourers to the peoples of the world as yet untouched by the Gospel. Praise God we have four missionaries working cross-culturally since 2017: Nathan and Tomoko Stewart in Kyoto, Japan; Lucinda Windeatt and Lauren Crase, both nurses, working in East Timor. They maintain regular contact with the Overseas Missions Committee which seeks to promote events periodically to stir up an awareness of the needs of the world and those without Christ.
