Home Groups
Growing through Relating
When the Church meets on Sundays it’s always frustrating not to have enough time to interact with people at a deeper level; there are just too many people to see. That’s why Home Groups are so good – fewer people and more time.
In the more relaxed and intimate atmosphere of a Home, the group meets weekly to talk about the truths in the Bible and how we can apply its teaching to our daily lives. Being a small group it’s much easier to be open and interact with others, especially for those who are timider. Everyone is encouraged to express their questions, doubts, or need for further clarification and to give their point of view without fear of being criticized.
Consequently, in these groups friendships are made and strengthened as we grow together as brothers and sisters in mutual support and care, and fervent prayer.
At the moment we are delving into “The Gospel of John,” an amazing and different angle on the life of Christ than the other so-called “synoptic Gospels.” As Jesus interacts with the people John chose to focus on He teaches us about the Father, Himself and humankind itself. After studying this Gospel we’re sure that everyone will declare, “Surely this is the Christ, the Son of the Living God and the Saviour of the World.”
Mutual care and encouragement are the focus of the groups so come along and enjoy the warm, relaxed fellowship in one of the group locations listed here.
