Local and National Missions
Introducing Christ to our Fellow Aussies
“Missions exist because worship doesn’t,” affirmed John Piper and we agree. If God is looking for worshippers then we ought to be looking for them too, so that they can join us in our primary task of “glorifying God.” The passion of every true believer ought to be the desire to “make disciples” who, in their turn, will make other disciples until the last person who will become a disciple is converted and subsequently, the Lord comes again. (2 Tim 2:22)
Jesus made it clear that “the field is the world” and that we have been planted in our families, street, neighbourhood, work-place, city and whatever other situation to proclaim Him.
Him as my righteousness I show,
His saving truth proclaim:
’Tis all my business here below,
To cry, Behold the Lamb!
As Browns Plains and surrounds becomes more and more populated we can’t sit passively enjoying the various groups we belong to. The task is urgent! People are dying without Christ and we have the message that can change their destiny. Come pray with us for our lost neighbourhood at 5:00 pm each Sunday evening and buy up every opportunity you can to share your Lord and Saviour with others.
