Service
Serving and Growing Together
Service for Christ or serving others isn’t a drag, but a great privilege, when you do it “heartily as unto the Lord” (Col 3:23,24) in the strength and ability that He gives. As a matter of fact you can’t but serve because the “love of Christ urges us on” (2 Cor 5:14). There are many ways in which the congregation can, and does serve BPPC. During the Church service itself, and immediately afterwards, there are many roles which need to be undertaken:
The music team work hard to provide excellent music to accompany the worship of God. This includes the organist, the pianist, the guitarist, singers, and at times even a flautist. These hard working people selflessly lead the congregation in singing to the Lord.
Without the multimedia team the church services would ground to a halt. This dedicated team deal with the audio and visual sides of things, including, but not limited to all aspects of the sound system, words for songs, Bible readings, pictures, and videos.
There’s nothing like a warm cup of tea, a biscuit, and a good conversation after a church service. Yet, without the hard work of the morning tea team there would be no tea, no biscuits, and by extension, much less fellowship.
Behind the scenes there’s lot of work going on. Without these “martyrs of monotony” functioning behind the scenes little would be accomplished. Sometimes a job seems small, yet often it is the small things that make a gigantic enterprise progress and produce.
